Napier Street - A Character Retention Project

Completed in the fall of 2020, this multi-family home was one we thoroughly enjoyed upgrading. 

Nestled on Napier Street, in the Grandview-Woodlands and Hastings-Sunrise areas of Vancouver, this home includes three strata units. The focus of this project was retaining the character of the home, while also updating important structural elements. 

Working with the incredibly talented architectural team at MA+HG , we upgraded this home with modern interior design elements. Each unit evokes its own personality, with sleek white cabinetry to keep the spaces feeling open, and a mix of concrete and wood flooring. 

Minor elements like peaked windows and arched doorways help to retain the character feeling of this project. 

A house lift and new foundation, plus a rooftop enlargement, complete these three units. We added a 912 square foot infill house on the property to a total of seven bedrooms and six bathrooms, each perfect for those wanting to reside in this bustling hub of Vancouver.
