The goal of this project was to create a culinary/social hub for owners who love cooking and consider conversation with guests an integral part of the entertaining experience. A trio of new sliding glass doors to the patio increases natural light penetration so the entire space feels bright and sunny and the patio becomes an extension of the interior cooking space.

While the decision to incorporate black and white as the thematic colour palette was risky, the final results gave the clients the desired contemporary aesthetic and dramatic visual they were hoping for. Wide-plank engineered white-oak flooring and wooden bar-stools add warm, rustic visuals to this stunning new space.
